"As it’s sixth and final season comes rapidly to a close, the stars of “Gossip Girl” are all smiles, happily celebrating their six years of success.
On Saturday (October 20), Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, and the rest of the cast and crew gathered for a wrap party in New York City.
Giving their fans and followers a taste of the fun, Chace and Blake both posted photos on their Twitter and Facebook pages. In one photo, Chace is covered in cake, while other photos show the cast goofing around with one another.
The final season, which premiered in early October, is officially described as follows: “Season six opens with the Upper East Siders working together to find one of their own. Serena (Blake Lively) has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl. Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can’t imagine where they will ultimately find her. “
“Gossip Girl” airs every Monday at 9/8c, and the season finale is slated for December 10."
