"Getting ready to fly out of the west coast, Katherine Heigl made her way to LAX airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (October 9).

The “Knocked Up” actress looked casual-chic in skinny jeans, cowboy boots and a white blouse as she prepared to catch a departing flight with her mom, Nancy.

Katherine’s mother has been the inspiration behind Heigl’s charity efforts for cancer, which just landed her an honor at Variety magazine’s annual Power of Women ceremony.

Last week, the beautiful blonde was among other Hollywood A-listers, including Jessica Biel and Halle Berry, who were acknowledged for their contributions to the many charities and foundations they support."
