Jennifer Garner in Washington D.C

"Showing her support for a topic close to home, Jennifer Garner was on hand in Washington D.C. for the America's Report Card 2012: Children in the U.S. event on Wednesday afternoon (October 10).
The mother of three gave a speech with political activist Maria Shriver at the Russell Senate Office Building.
Jen is the Save the children Ambassador and spoke on the state of America’s youth along with highlighting unmet needs.
According to Save the Children, nearly 1 in 4 American children live in poverty — that's 16 million kids who understand all too well what it means to go without.
The 40-year-old actress works with the program to improve the nation’s scores along with the quality of life for the children in this country."
