"Stepping out for a swanky evening, Eva Longoria showed up at the Nine Rivers Gala in New York City last night (October 16).

The “Desperate Housewives” dame presented Deepak Chopra with the Mandala Humanitarian Award at the Rubin Museum as fans and shutterbugs looked on.

Meanwhile, Eva also kept abreast as to the goings on of the second Presidential Debate, especially given that she’s been such a huge Obama supporter over the years.

After the event, she tweeted, “If there is one issue where @BarackObama is on the right side and @MittRomney is offering a #SketchyDeal, it’s immigration. End of story.”"
