"Stepping into the realm of motherhood, Drew Barrymore gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on September 26th!

The “Never Been Kissed” actress and her husband Will Kopelman (they got hitched in June) are thrilled at the arrival of little Olive, who is surrounded by loving family and friends.

Drew and Will just released a statement, expressing their gratitude for well wishes and requesting some alone time to begin their new lives as parents.

“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”
