"Speaking out for girls who may not have a voice otherwise, Demi Moore was busy co-hosting the GEMS Benefit Gala in New York City on Wednesday (October 17).
The 49-year-old actress was in high spirits at the El Museo del Barrio held fundraiser, despite recent reports claiming that she's "jealous and frustrated" over ex-husband Ashton Kutcher's new romance with his "That '70s Show" former co-star Mila Kunis.
As for Miss Moore's Big Apple appearance, she was on hand to help bring in cash for the Girls Educational and Mentoring Services - which was founded in 1998 while currently being the largest service provider to commercially sexually exploited and domestically trafficked girls in the U.S.
The event included the reading of excerpts from the memoir of GEMS Founder Rachel Lloyd, read by stars including Jada Pinkett Smith, Natasha Lyonne, and India Arie."
